Satellite crop watch · Uttar Pradesh

Every field, seen from orbit every few days.

हर खेत पर आसमान से नज़र, हर कुछ दिन में।

Khet Nazar reads free European satellite images of each enrolled field, spots a weak patch before it is visible from the bund, and sends the farmer clear advice in Hindi on WhatsApp, with the right product at the nearest store.

How it works

From a satellite pass to advice in the farmer's hand

Five steps run automatically every morning. A person at the store approves each message before it goes out.

What it catches

Each problem leaves its own shape from space

A pest spreads in round patches, disease follows the water, thirst shows as a gradient. Reading the shape, the speed and the weather together is what turns a colour map into advice.

Connected satellites

The Copernicus fleet over every field

Khet Nazar uses the European Union's Copernicus Sentinel satellites. Their images are free and open, so the cost of watching a field is close to nothing.

For farmers

No app. No sign-up. Just a message.

आपके खेत की जानकारी, आपकी भाषा में, WhatsApp पर।

Where the problem is

North-east corner, west edge, the low side. Named the way a farmer walks the field.

What to check first

The advice asks the farmer to look before spraying. When unsure, it asks for a photo.

Exact dose for the field size

Grams per acre and packs to buy, only from products in stock at the nearest store.

A private field report

Each farmer gets a link to their own page with the satellite map and the history of their field.

Advice that arrives before the loss

Every alert names a real product in stock at the farmer's own store. Healthy fields near harvest become next-season seed bookings.

~5 days

A fresh look at every enrolled field whenever a clear satellite pass comes in, without waiting for a field visit.

₹0

Cost of the satellite images. Sentinel data is free and open under the Copernicus programme.

1 approval

No alert reaches a farmer until someone at the store has read it and pressed send.
